Mayor Patrick Escalante led the city employees in the celebration of the 13th Declaration of the Philippine Independence on June 12, 2011, at 7:30AM, at the Don Bernardo L. Benedicto Community Center in Cadiz City, participated in by the World War II veterans, the senior citizens, the teachers and the Philippine National Police.
