More than twenty pet owners and dogs of different breeds received cash prizes, trophies, certificates, dog foods and gift packs from the Cadiz City Veterinary Office and Pfizer during the 8th Fun Match Dog Show held at the Don Bernardo Benedicto Community Center last January 24..Sponsored by the Office of the City Veterinarian and supported by the local government of Cadiz led by the honorable city mayor Salvador G. Escalante, Jr., the event showcased several dogs belonging in distinct groups like: toy, hound, working, sporting and non-sporting, terrier, herding and puppy, where the canines displayed their grace as they work out to show their skills.
1st Prize winners for Best in Show are Norwel John Magallanes and Gerald Sotelo. 2nd Placers are Rose Sarabia and Chac Mirano while 3rd Prize winners are Dr. Homer Baloyo and Joelen Dilag, all from the cities of Cadiz and Bacolod.
Other winners for the different categories were canines owned by: Risa Lacson for the puppy, Dr. Homer Baloyo for the toy, Emily Esimos and Gerald Soteo for the hound, Rose Sarabia and Chac Mirano for the sporting, Yolanda Vargas and Joelen Dilag for the non-sporting, Jomel Bacomo and Joelen Dilag for the terrier and Emeline Teodoro for the mixed breed.
All entries received dog foods from ASVET Inc. while a mini pinscher puppy was given out through a raffle./*
