The City Information Office of Cadiz City will set up the Cadiz Information Center during the 42nd Charter Day Anniversary on July 1-4, at the corner of Abelarde – Cabahug Streets, Cadiz City, with the “Masthead Making Contest” for the Cadiz Bulletin publication on July 4.
The Cadiz Information Center will be a drop-off center for both local and international tourists, including media people, who will be needing information about Cadiz City and its relevant data, as well as daily updates and schedules/ press releases of the activity.
The “Masthead Making Contest”, open to all potential high school and college students in Cadiz, will determine the official nameplate for the newly-innovated Cadiz Bulletin. Its first use of new masthead will begin on August, this year.
Artists and/ or students can adopt and/ or create any style or idea for the masthead, provided the masthead concept or artwork must carry the name of the Cadiz Bulletin.
They can use any medium and/ or utilize a maximum of three (3) colors: yellow, blue and green. However, entry must be executed on a 8.5 X 11 size of short bond paper.
Winning entry will receive P1,000.00 cash prize, while the five finalists will romp away P200.00 each.
Final judging and awarding of winner will be on July 4, 2PM, at the Cadiz Information Center.
Deadline for submission of entries will be on July 3. Acceptance of entries will start on June 15.
Entry forms can be secured from the principal’s office in all high schools and colleges and universities within Cadiz City and/ or under the supervision of Schools Division of Cadiz City.
