DepEd Regional Director of Region VI Mildred L. Garay formally installed Dr. Xz B. Dignadice, Ph.D, as the newly appointed Officer-in-Charge of the City Schools Division Superintendent and Dr. Neri Anne Alibuyog, Ed.D, as Assistant Schools Division Superintendent in Cadiz City held at the Escalante Building, Cadiz East Elementary School last March 27.
Dr. Dignadice, 61, was formerly assigned in Iloilo City as Assist. Schools Division Superintendent since 1999 prior to her new appointment in Cadiz. She finished her course in Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Secondary Education major in Filipino at the University of Iloilo. She earned her Master of Arts in Education major in Administration and Supervision in the same university. She graduated her doctorate as Doctor of Philosophy major in Educational Management last March 1991.
A workaholic, dedicated and hardworking superintendent said “you can wake me up even in the middle of the night to sign any documents but see to it that those documents are legal and proper”.
On the other hand, thirty five years old Dr. Neri Anne Alibuyog was the Education Supervisor I in Filipino from 2007-2008. She was the Elementary School Principal I in Dr. VF. Gustilo Elem. School from 2002-2004 and Tagbanon Elem. School last 2004-2007.
Congressman Alfredo Maranon III, Mayor Salvador G. Escalante, Jr., Vice Mayor Samson Mirhan, Councilor Dr. Lilia Decolongon, Board Member Jebmari Becaro, ASDS of Iloilo City Dr. Evelyn De Juan, School Div. Superintendent of Sagay City Ms. Elnora Pahunao and, school administrators and supervisors were among those who witnessed the affair. Mrs. Arlene Bermejo, Education Supervisor I in Mathematics and Dr. Socorro Ibanez, Education Supervisor in English were masters of the ceremony./*
