The CWES II has organized Dengue Brigade composed of teachers, pupils and parents collaboratively work towards one goal which is “TO MAKE CWES II A DENGUE-FREE SCHOOL”.

The brigade has the following Dengue advocacy activities: Implementation of OPKU (Oplan Kulob) where all containers like vases, pots, empty bottles should be cleaned and arranged by covering it and placing them in sheltered areas not exposed to rainfall; implementation of Dengue Fast Clinic, Massive pro-campaign which is done through PTA meetings where importance of 4’S principle is stressed; and application of used oil in gutters/ canals to prevent breeding of mosquitoes, cleaning of storage containers and garbage cans everyday and screening of classroom windows.
