Out of the ten finalists vying for the most prestigious award in the 4th Negros Pop Idol Competition, Sharadyl Revalez of Cadiz City, bagged the second place and received a cash prize of P10,000.00 last April 20 at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.
Revalez, 16, who sang the Tagalog song "Bituing Walang Ningning" and English song "Voice Within", placed second to Grand Champion Jessa Luntayao of the Municipality of Hinigaran. Luntayao received a cash prize of 15,000.00 and Berliza Pasinabo of Himamaylan, 3rd place, received P7,000.00.
Other finalists who were given a consolation prize of P5,000.00 each were Anecito Sardon of Isabela, Tricia Soque of Bago City, Jessmar Acosta of La Carlota City, Reinbert Estacion of Moses Padilla, Ricarido Vacarro III of Silay City, Lara Joy Gonzales of Sagay City and Kezia Christine Dieta of Manapla./*
