Mayor Salvador G. Escalante Jr. illustrates his being “resiklo” advocate when the Cadiz City 42nd Charter Day Anniversary kicks off with the launching of its original song album on the program implementation of R.A. 9003 known as the Solid Waste Management Act on July 1, 7PM, at the Don Bernardo L. Benedicto Community Center.

Entitled “Dalamguhanon Sang Cadiznons”, the album consists of 12 original Hiligaynon compositions. These include: (1) Kahigko Pamatukan, (2) Palibot ko, Talupangdon Ko, (3) Polyusyon, (4) Basura Ipa-iway, (5) Dunang Manggad (Sa Likod sg Kauswagan), (6) Dunang Kabuhi, (7) Mga Tinugyanan, (8) Katinlo: Bahin sg Kabuhi, (9) Katinlo: Dason sa Pagkadiosnon, (10) Kauswagan sg Cadiz, (11) Handum nga Kauswagan, and (12) Mag-isa Kita.

Produced by the Local Government Unit of Cadiz, the album is written and released by the “Tribu Resiklo”. The “Tribu” is a group of local composers and writers who are also government employees. They are Jun Torreverde, Rany Barrieses, Ely Mayo Diola and Jude Jaropillo.
