Mayor Salvador G. Escalante Jr. has extended assistance for the ‘Brigada Eskwela 2009” last May 18-22, this year, as part of his commitment to quality education for all Cadiznons. Mayor Bading has himself invaded different schools around the City and repainted the school buildings and perimeter fences with bright yellow color that signifies bright future for the children. The task force also initiated a clean-up drive.
“Brigada Eskwela 2009” kicked off on May 18 at the Dr. Vicente F. Gustilo Memorial National High School where Board Member Miller Serondo distributed paints and brushes for various schools.
The school beneficiaries are Dr. Vicente F. Gustilo Memorial National High School, SPED Training Center, Cadiz East Elementary School 1 and 2, Cadiz West Elementary School 1 and 2, Bayabas Elementary School, Caduhaan National High School – Luna Extension, Pedro E. Ramos Elementary School, Don Luis Consing Elementary School
The project actors include Vice Mayor Samson Mirhan, Councilor Wilfredo Cervantes, Councilor Abiezer Bacomo, Councilor Roy Vijandre and the Mayor’s Media Bureau.
Others are Schools Division Superintendent Xz Dignadice, District Supervisor Edith Negosa, Education Supervisor Editha Abalos and Education Supervisor Marcela Guarino./*
